Canon F-1: Can I rely on the internal Light meter

Thanks for the video, interesting comparison, l’ve recently bought a Canon F1 original version, but having a few issues with the meter, if I centralise the shutter speed indicator then bring down the aperture circle it often seems to catch and push down the meter, planning to buy an external meter but do you reckon it’s worth having the meter serviced In your opinion?

If your in the UK then I use Steve at Camserve to cla and or repair. But to be honest recently I have relying on Sunny 16 , actually a revised sunny 11, and getting reliable results. Might do a video on that. Wishing you well 👍📷

Short answer is No but the link below shows the accessories available for the F1. www.pacificrimcamera.com/rl/00997/00997.pdf Personally I do not use one on my F1 or A1 cameras.
