This is one of the most difficult Cello pieces ever constructed, not because of technical difficulty but because it takes incredible patience to play through the whole thing

I guess if you played the song 390429439 times hahah Even the first times you played it, you didnt enjoy being part of the whole piece ? I can't speak from personal experience as I am not a musician, but I can see the person behind the cello enjoying the moment even if they're not doing much but supporting these violins going at it.

It was actually a violin. Cos I could see that he was going onto E string that no violas actually have so it's a quartet of 3 violins and a cello. The 3rd violin is the "viola" in this quartet.

@@furret6167 That is true however I cannot hear any sounds that resemble a viola. A string quartet is traditionally 2 violins, a viola and a cello, but you can have 3 violins and a cello. Being a violinist myself, I was watching that person and trying to figure out the sounds that he was making. I figured that he was playing a violin as he was going onto the E String. I never once heard a viola C string sound, nor any notes that would be played on it. That may just be me who thinks this however

I play the double bass and I honestly love this song because I like being able to play long and beautiful tones to support the rest of the ensemble and because its a beautiful song and playing an easy part it is nice to be able to listen to it as a whole while playing. If youre "bored" while playing, then you aren't really into the music making the most beautiful sounds you can make. Music is a gift to the listener and being able to take part in such a gift is an honor, no matter how simple the part.

Metalheads tend to like Hard truth, no matter how bad. They are also looked at with distain in USA, even today. I feel like because I listen to "heavy metal", most would think I know nothing of "real" music, like Bach and Pachelbel, but this is the source of the metal feel way back in history. This is basically the second most popular wedding march in existence. I think it's ten times better than the traditional march, but it's not overly complex. This piece is probably one of the most simple pieces that this band has ever played. I'll agree that it's pretty, but it's the same three chord progressions over and over again and it never, ever becomes remotely difficult. So don't praise them too much for playing instruments perfectly. Don't get me wrong, these guys can play some pretty amazing music. This just isn't it. I like it, you like it, and they probably like it. But this piece is about as easy as classical music gets. Not trying to pop your bubble or anything, but this isn't difficult to play. At all. Also, before you criticize, I played classical piano for years. So don't assume I'm ignorant on the subject. This piece is just really easy to play.

Oh well, here comes all of the people who are going to bash me for this comment. First of all, I thought it was a great performance, but sometimes the notes were slightly out of tune, so when played with the whole quartet, it made a huge effect. Those times were a bit unpleasant to my ears, and yes, I've played violin for 8 years, I have experience.
