Don't go for ink tank, you can instead go for laser, it's very cost effective and fast. You may have to increase budget a bit to 14-15K, but there are great MFP options from Samsung, HP, Brother in that range. I use samsung MFP personally it has been going great for 10+ years.

Please don't buy canon printer that have cartridge printing system, the cartridge comes free would give you 80 to 100 pages black and same of colour, you will never get 400 print output with single or both cartridge, you have to keep buying tonners. Better go for the ink tank printer.

The exciting features when compare to Epson Ink tank printer is with smaller price duplex function availability. But the disadvantage over Epson inktank is , cost of the printer for b/w and colour is high, due the ink cartridges, it can dry up easily (suffered lot with HP ink jets printers, need to replace the cartridges every time if not used for quiet some time) Cost of the cartridges is high compared to Epson

You don't need to disconnect from wifi to print FROM PC, and you can also just disconnect from wifi from settings.

Hey! I got the same printer? A quick question. Premise- I don't use any Canon app on PC or Tablet/Mobile/ Ques) I have set a password on my Wi-fi direct. I don't connect the Wifi to it but when I add a printer in control panel, it connects WITHOUT asking for a password? What is that? It says it's a WPS connection. But shouldn't it ask for password, if it is set? The printer is nice, but having too many functionalities makes it confusing. The wi-fi direct shows 2 connections sometimes and then there is another connection which it makes while being connected to the home internet. Weird stuff. Printer tech should be more simple, neat and fast.

WPS connectivity doesn't require password, as you have to manually activate that in router for a short period of time.

Something is activating WPS On your router when you add it, it's not possible otherwise, and other people can't connect to it. I personally had to press the WPS button on my router to make it connect.

I generally don't recommend blower style card, but for that price... Damn... Even if it throttles a lot you should easily be able to get much better performance than a 2070... Its an almost unbelievable deal...

Build quality is good, by which I mean good enough for a printer. It comes with small cartridges, but with bigger ones you'll be able to print a lot more pages. If you won't be printing lots of pages frequently, and you want color printing on budget, this is a great option.

Installation went easily though the HP Smart Printing doesn't work well with our laptops - having to select the actual device. Will have to see how the HP Instant Ink program works out.
