Great printer worked with my phone right away! Just plug it into my phone USB port with an OTG adapter cable.

Old printer MG 2522 stopped working. Warning light flashes 10 times. Figured after 3 years it was time for a new one. Bought a new 2522 because we already have new ink cartridges. Plugged it in and got the same warning sign. HELP!

After 3 years of having this printer and it didn’t work I put it back in the box until today, I pulled it out and found this video & I thank you for this😂😂😂 I was so irritated sitting here with 2 different laptops and my hp was only compatible to it.. but the funny thing is the ink must’ve dried up cause it’s definitely not printing with ink on the paper but it works 😂😂😂 I needed this laugh tho

Mine won’t even do anything except blink three times on the yellow error light ! Says paper jam , and it has never seen a piece of paper yet . Have tried a dozen times for support !

When I turned on the printer before I began the installation I had an orange light warning two flashes and I tried resetting by pressing stop and power buttons in certain sequences but that didn't work. I found out that two flashes meant that the paper tray was empty, I put some paper in but it didn't make any difference, then I pushed the paper down further and the warning light began flashing three times instead which I think meant it had a paper jam. I tried pulling the power cord and turning on the printer but that didn't fix it, then I pulled up the paper back into proper position and then after turning it off and on again it cleared the warning light flashing itself. I don't know exactly what I did, but it seems this printer's warning light system and resetting is very complicated. In any case I was finally able to install successfully.

I bought the printer in early 2023. I had the same problem. I left it in a corner unused and today June 17th I decided to delete everything on the PC and reinstall it. And it worked. Try to delete the entire program from the PC and reinstall it

I guess I will have to drive to Walmart and get another printer. This one has never been used . It was at the point of printing a test page . The only thing it does is blink it’s yellow light three times to say it has a paper jam , before it ever saw it’s first piece of paper ! Money wasted. Used birthday gift money to buy on Amazon .I have never had such a problem . Shipping materials thrown away months ago. I have had good experiences with Canon before , but what a waste this time .

"This printer doesn't work on your OS" WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN. It's a printer! All it need to do is put Ink on papers, why does it matter what computer I have? They're all just as smart as tge other.

@@CanonUSASupportI’ll speak for him. The MG2522 printer is defective. After reading reviews about it, most people have the problem that the printer can’t be detected by their computer. Or In my case, the printer won’t work past the blinking orange light when you first turn it on. I’ve rebooted it several times. And restarted the instructions about 10 times already.
