In this video, I am unboxing a canon wireless colour printer model name PIXMA MG3070S. It's a low budget colour printer which gives about average print quality and supports scanning. The price is around 4000INR (Nov 2019).

The printer was a bit complicated to hook up kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

How do you turn this thing off? I swear when ever i turn it off the power light just keeps on blinking. And when i try to turn it on, it wont turn on because it's never off. I had to remove the plug all the time to shut it down completely.

You can install a ciss tank. But I am not sure about its printing capacity. (Generally, a set of 100ml bottles can print upto 2500 pages. It may vary on your usage )

Yes. Both the cartridges need to be inserted for printing

No it won't print with an empty slot. You need to install both. But if it happens that one of the cartridges becomes empty after usage, then you can change the printer settings and print with only the one that has ink in it with the empty cartridge still in place.

Yes it can. But make sure to use appropriate type of sticker paper. Because most of the time, inkjet and laser printers use different sticker papers.

Different capacity cartridge available. S, regular and XL. Black ink Xl gives approximately 200 black and white prints while colour ink XL gives 150 colour prints. These are not exact numbers and number of prints may vary with usage.

Mobile data cannot be used to connect. The printer has wifi which you can connect to your smartphone/pc wifi in a local connection (no internet) Or you can connect printer and smartphone/pc all to the same wifi network to print.

1) Usually while printing by PC, ink level is displayed. But you can also check details in control panel. I haven't checked in the smartphone app. 2) yes it is still on sale. You can buy it. 3) whether it is value for money depends on your usage. It is good for occasional use since the cartridge is expensive. 4) I can't say that it is the best since I have no idea about other brands. But I'll say go for ink tank printer if you print in higher volumes.

Actually you can refill the cartridge. But you need to drill holes in it to do so and after filling ink, you need to cap it off. You might need to buy a kit for it

The cartridge that comes with the printer are very low capacity. Prints only 15-20 A4 pages each (black and white / colour). You can buy replacement cartridges which are available in different capacities like small, regular, XL. The XL gives almost 200 black & white prints and almost 180 colour prints. But it really depends on your usage. You can check the price of these cartridges on the internet or shopping apps. (PG 745 cartridge) This type of printer is recommended for only occasional use. For high printing capacity at low cost, go for ink tank printers. Sorry for the late reply

There are options from HP you can look at. But the fact is these replaceable cartridge printers are good for only occasional use. For heavy usage, an ink tank printer is better as they are cheaper to run. Cartridge printers have low initial investment but the cartridges are expensive with low yield. Ink tank printers have higher initial investment but have a higher yield.

You can buy new ink cartridges (colour as well as black). They come in different capacities. Example: Small capacity (S): Black- 100 A4 pages, colour- 100 A4 pages Regular capacity: Black- 180 A4 pages, colour- 150 pages Large (XL) capacity: Black- 300 pages, colour- 180 pages. All these are approximate numbers. But you can choose the one that suits you

Warranty can be claimed if you received defective cartridges. But if you have used up all the ink, then you simply have to replace it. make sure to use original cartridges as any other may void the warranty. The cartridges provided with the printer have very low capacity. They usually run out of ink at about 20 pages (based on my experience)
