Canon Pixma MG3550: How to do Printhead Cleaning and Deep Cleaning Cycles and Improve Print Quality

In this short video, Matt shows you how to clean the printhead of the Canon Pixma MG3550, pulling fresh ink from the installed PG-540 & CL-541ink cartridges. This is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your printer, from missing colours to striped prints, we recommend doing this first. Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink within your ink cartridges, so be sure to use this function of your Canon Pixma MG3550 sparingly.
These cleans can be performed directly from your Canon Pixma MG3550 and do not require an attached computer/laptop.

In TR4600 you can find it in a settings menu on the printer itself. Click the pliers+screwdriver button. Then move left/right until you find maintainance, click ok, then left/right until you find cleaning or deep cleaning

Hi, I don't use my printer much and usually it's only in black but when I do the print comes out in double lines, i.e. no clear definition. This is a problem when I have to print a bar code or fine print. Replacing the cartridges doesn't solve the problem. What else can I do?
