Hi, I'm also thinking of doing this upgrade mainly because of slow focusing issues. I currently have the 3000D, more missed focus than usable photos. I'm curious how your experience is after getting the R100. Is it a good upgrade? I think the 4000D and 3000D are similar so I'd like to know if its worth getting the R100.

I want to use canon 4000d for videography at home, with a green screen in the background. The problem is, the video is so dark. I even tried adjusting the aperture, but I can't figure out the lighting

Add lights to the room. A ring light may be the best budget solution. You can also increase the ISO, but it will introduce noise into your image. Best bet is to increase room light. The 4000d is an APC small crop sensor camera so it is less sensitive to light. Full sensor cameras still require lighting up the room for better images. No matter what camera you use add lights when using a green screen

My input: I had the 4009 d- basic camera, 18mp and no stability in lens, basic focus. The r100 is the best photographer 📸 camera , Can has ever made. MADE IN JAPAN The dual pixel auto focus is good. You dont need a touch screen. Buy one, before the secret is out. Amazing camera 📷 if you understand any photography.

If I already have the 4000D or 3000D in my region. Would getting the canon R100 be a good step up? I've been wanting to change camera mainly due to a very bad focusing on the 3000D. It just can't keep up, so i always get blurry shots or miss good shots. I was thinking of getting the R100 since it is the more affordable option. Cameras are so expensive here on my region.

Im using a 17-50mm f/2.8 sigma on an eos 200d. If i upgrade to an r100 would the autofocus improve? Given the motor in the lens wont change would the better 2 pixel focus make a difference?

I think you will notice an improvement on the speed and reliability of focusing - saying that if you’re happy with the 200d no need to upgrade it 🙏👍💪

​@@KaiCreative Ultimately came to this conclusion. Ill wait for canons next r50 equivilent release so its a bit more of a jump. Theres a few things i dont like with my 200d but its just not enough of a jump in image quality or auto focus yet.

4000d image quality looks kinda even better than R100. And I'm watching on a big TV, on a phone I've couldn't tell them apart

@@h9hkk6155 the 4000D def still holds it own - when you can nail the focus - as seen in this video it can look good - but in a run and gun situation - like here, where I had a couple of models for like 1 hour and had to rush around shooting stuff on two cameras - it’s evident that focus was off a lot 😅😅

If you're not too worried about second hand cameras, you can def get a decent Canon EOR (The original one) for that amount, does great pics and has a lovely All-I 1080 video.

t100 or 4000d seemed to be out of focus a lot which sux. I have both cameras as well cuz i bought the t100 used. I use the t100 in the streets here in peru because its so cheap and if i get robbed its not a big loss but the rf100 i would feel bad about losing. To me the r100 is way better

You may try increasing the shutter speed to 200 or more when taking pictures or plan on using a tripod for slower shutter speeds since the camera does not have ibs internal stabilization and your lens may lack a stabilization setting as well. A quick way to control your shutter speed is to use the shutter priority setting (TV).

Lmao no camera is bad no matter how cheap, if you think a camera is bad or doesn't take good photos it's mostly your fault you can't use a dslr properly

@@ayaan8499 this one is really bad, but it is possible to make good images with it, of course, and YES, I know very well how to use a DSLR; PLEASE, just don't come with that bull *hit conversation that the equipment doesn't matter, it is just a lie, it is important to have the right equipment to what you do and need and it is also important to know it as good as posible but of couse that your knowledge and experience is even more important.

For US$ 300, you can buy some used digital Canon camera, like an Canon 60D, or something, that is a million times better.
