Great Content! You can def tell if you look at the clarity of the shadows and the transition areas from dark to light.

Its definitely obvious in lower light where the iphone has issues and noise increases!

p.s. I'm just a beginner in making videos for real estate. How did you got that effect when it looks it goes the same slow pace in all video and of course some places it goes faster, but I'm speaking about places where it was slow. When editing video do you use transitions between different video frames? How does it looks so smooth like it would be 1 video frame. Not sure if you got my idea :) don't know how to explain it. Thanks before!

The speed ramping? Where it goes from fast to slow and slow to fast? Look it up on YT as there are many videos on how to do it. It's pretty easy but be careful not to overdo it. It's a great effect at the right moment but then I start seeing a lot of filmmakers go a bit overboard and all their transitions are speed ramps.
@cherchercherries3 жыл бұрын
@@Karlyeh0260AI Thanks for answer! More like I was thinking about slow pace. Not transition exactly. It looks same speed all over video. When you did shooting you walked in exactly same speed trough whole property? Or it doesn't matter? Plus I have question when is best time in a day to shoot real estate, when using only natural light in a day time. Thanks before.

Great video and comparison. Was the R5 footage shot in 4K 60 HQ or non-HQ? Also, do you have any plans on making a video regarding exposing your CLog and editing footage for your R5? I would be very interested because that R5 footage looked great.
@Karlyeh0260AI3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. I wasn't planning to because my channel was more about video marketing but why not. I can definitely create a video on that. Thanks for the recommendation!

@@Karlyeh0260AI that would be great! You’re R5 exposure looks fantastic and I’d really like to replicate that on my properties. :) I’ve subscribed and look forward to your video. :)

Oh right and I forgot to answer your question...so I shot in 4k60 but the R5 doesn't do 4k60HQ...only up to 4k30HQ.

Can I shoot a full series video on this iPhone 13 pro max. Or a full movie?

I believe you can!

I think the DSLR wins big time. I think if your Iphone used filmic pro vlog 3 (10 bit) and moment 18 lens you might have a competitor. I shoot with Canon r6 CLOG3 and I was hoping that the iphone 12 pro would do better
@Karlyeh0260AI3 жыл бұрын
I found low light and shadows the ultimate weakness for the iPhone and understandably. But for all the non-filmmakers I talked to and showed this to, almost all couldn't tell the difference or preferred the iphone footage!
@greenlightstudios34693 жыл бұрын
@@Karlyeh0260AI but it seems you only used 8bit video whereas the iPhone 12 can shoot in 10 bit for less noise
@Karlyeh0260AI3 жыл бұрын
@@greenlightstudios3469 Good eye. I thought I had it on but a couple of days after i had shot and finished editing, I double checked and it was off. Although, in other comparisons, even in 10bit, the shadows were still noisy compared to. But in well lit environments, it does very well.

It was easy to see in low light. But it is amazing that the outside area was clearer to see on the IPhone. A kind of pseudo dynamic range. The IPhone 13 Pro / Max will fix the low light problem.

When shooting "banger's" on the iPhone (currently the 11 Pro Max) I stick to the primary wide lens and use a Moment 18mm to go a little wider ~ the ultra wide was notorious for additional noise in lower light scenarios ~ I am looking forward to the 13 Pro Max but, even with my 5:15am PST order I am stuck waiting until Oct 6 - Oct 11 for delivery. My local Apple store was sold out of all variants of the Pro model phones

I found that as well. I just wanted to shoot with the phone as is because usually i film real estate with an R5 and my 16-35. What’s funny is a couple of realtors asked to show them how to shoot with their phones too.

Nice comparison! I've used my phone for a few 12mm ultra wide photos in tight spaces too!

Hi! Thanks for your video. I just got iPhone 12 pro as well, and I see that when using wide lens video gets really noisy and grainy, especially where shadows. And yes I saw difference, as I recognised same problem Im having with iPhone. Plus Im using for real estate as well. But hopefully people who don't do video by them selves not gonna see this problem :) Cheers!
@Karlyeh0260AI3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I think the iPhone is getting better and getter but it's that sensor size that's gonna be an interesting challenge. If what you're filming is well lit, it's pretty good but any shots underexposed is gonna be tough so you better have a good noise removal tool.

These two videos were worlds apart. iPhone was so noisy and with artefacts. What went wrong? In your other real estate video comparison I could hardly tell the difference. From the other video I would say that from an amateur's perspective the iPhone footage is great. From my own experience the results from my iPhone 13 (not pro) were also great.

Good video. I knew immediately that what camera shot what, a few realtors will know, but most won't. I am getting the iPhone 12 Pro to shoot CubiCasa floor plans, dopey vertical walk-through videos that realtors actually use for TikTok and Instagram, and for one of my clients this new ListingPix app thing. Besides CubiCasa, the rest is mostly bush-league nonsense geared at imbeciles who go around shooting like clueless tourists. But these are ways to earn more money. Not too keen on these since it's amateur hour, but it's money.
@Youno9542 жыл бұрын
clearly the second video was more noisy so it is the iPhone. R5 is much better in low light and indoor situations
