I just got my R6 and have had a bit of confusion getting the modes, dials, options, etc. straight. I can honestly tell you, your video is the best, most focused common sense explanation I've found yet (and I've looked at a lot of them on You Tube). Thank you.

You'll love it! It 's so versatile and ask your friends/family for some good SD cards -they'll easily fit in the Christmas stocking! And, if you're a person with Canon glass (lenses) the EF adapter makes the move from Canon DSLR to the R6 seamless! Got mine in October and absolutely love it!

Very Good Video. Ive been trying to figure out why I'm getting the messages :Trash Can icon press:reset selected item" & "Trash Can hold: Reset Tv/Av/??/ISO" when I turn the camera on. At 16:18 I see those messages, any idea why they come up and what I'm supposed to do about it? Error or Info?

Good video for the beginners. I am planning to buy R6. Which len you will suggest? Never have the canon lens before.
@paulvanhees26804 жыл бұрын
You put the firmware on a memory-card and let then read by the camera.But the R6 manual do never mention,to use a card reader. So,i connect the camera on pc after I did unpack the firmwire?
@maryshields19354 жыл бұрын
Very helpful, could you please give a slower version of how to update the firmware? I'm not very computer savy.

I'm with you on that, much too fast for an old geezer like me. Apart from the continuous "go ahead", a useful video.

Hi Wai, Thank you so much for explaining things simply. A fabulous tutorial delivered in a very professional manner. I have two questions for you (1) Inside the battery compartment there is an Output or an Input which looks like a USB port. The R6 manual does not explain what it is, please could you help? (2) Are there any third party battery grips with remote available for the R6? The Canon BG-R10 is over is over £400.00 Extremely expensive. Can you help please Thanks

That’s the connector port for the wireless transmitter. It functions as a 2-battery grip plus provides ethernet as well as wireless connectivity, connecting up to 10 cameras to a server.

Very good and helpful info. Tiny nit: You say “go ahead” about once every five seconds. Doesn’t add anything useful and gets kind of annoying.
@oliveringram30563 жыл бұрын
Agree, very annoying.

how good is the24-105 for general work for both video and photo? Dont need the expectation for PRO that people like the throw around online but I still am hesitant about the idea of using a more budget lens compared to the faster zooms . I know someone who got the 35mm instead and use for both video and photo though the focus looks to be slower THEN they use their older EF lens in the mean time. that sounds good for someone who is already using canon
@WaiYingLam4 жыл бұрын
The canon rf 24-105mm f/4-7.1 is a OK lens. I like it because of the weight and size. It makes a great travel lens. But for video or any raw photo editing. Go with the F4, it is vastly superior.

Sorry I couldn't watch it to the end, very informative but couldn't get past the go aheads you said constantly very distracting
@King_Flush3 жыл бұрын
By all means, go ahead.
@ForrestWest3 жыл бұрын
You might want to try reducing your use of the phrase, "you want to go ahead and..." it's way over used by KZbinrs. You can use the word "now" or "next" instead of those five words. I had to stop watching the video because of that phrase being repeated so much.
