CANON R7 RF200-800 BEE EATER 4K CINEMATIC
The European Bee-eater is a very colorful bird.
It is a formidable hunter who sometimes swallows these prey in flight even if the majority of the time it lands on one of its perches to swallow them.
It feeds on various insects: wasps, bees, bumblebees, hornets, beetles, dragonflies, butterflies, etc.
The making of the nest is prepared with the beak, the earth is then thrown back using the paws.
The tunnel thus formed measures approximately 6 to 8cm in diameter and is 1 to 2 meters deep on average.
The tunnel ends with the egg-laying chamber, approximately 30cm deep and 12cm high.
Making the burrow lasts between 10 and 25 days depending on the nature of the soil.
Brooding (generally 5 to 7 eggs) is carried out by the two partners who alternate every 10 to 30 minutes.
It’s a real joy to observe them!

Bonsoir Philippe, merci pour ce commentaire ! effectivement leur chant est envoutant mais il y a un gros chantier juste à côté avec beaucoup de bruits donc trop compliqué pour l'enregistrement sonore mais pour une prochaine vidéo je parviendrai à les enregistrer du moins je l'espère -)
