I never used that lens myself, but it is very affordable and has a fast f/1.8 aperture which is great for lower light situations and for portraits, because you can get some nice background blur. It is more limiting, because it is only 50mm, but that style of lens does have a purpose. For versatility it is not as good, but for a portrait style shot I would much prefer the 50mm f/1.8 lens as an example...

Just hot this camera. How do i go back to the set time. I had to have done something wrong because it tell me to position lens to shooting position

You have to open the lens like I showed in the video as it has a closed position so it's more compact. To set the time you need to go here: cam.start.canon/en/C013/manual/html/UG-08_Set-up_0080.html

HI we love your videos- can you PLEASE tell us HOW to download photos and videos from the SONY ZV1 camera to our Lenovo Thinkpad- HOW do you do it? Do we plug in the USB cable to theSOny ZV1 and to the Laptop Thinkpad and it comes on and shows you the files on the screen of the laptop? Do you click on 'G' drive on the laptop to put the downloaded photos there? You can connect the USB cable to the camera and computer and copy the files to your computer. Or remove the SD card from the camera and plug into a card reader and plug the reader Into your computer

Which lens? This is an RF-S Mount camera, so you would need lens adapters for Non RF Lenses...

Yes it can compete and its a tuff call in some respects, but I would still go with the A7 III at this time, specifically because Sony has so many more lenses to choose from compared to Canon. Canon is catching up though ;)
