It's a fantastic little camera! And with some decent prime lenses it's even better!

I had one for a long time and I never used it to it’s full extent. I got rid of it when starting having some issues.

They are really fantastic cameras, and sometimes playing in manual really makes you more in tune with the camera!

I think it's pretty head to head with a phone, the best part of the camera is the availability of lenses that phones can't match

Late response, but I would take a t3 with a good lens over any latest mobile camera anyday. But it depends on what you want to do. If you just want quick beautiful photos to share on social media that will only ever be viewed on mobile. You'll be hard pressed to beat a mobile cam. If you want to learn to edit and shoot larger much higher detailed images, especially in lower light then the older lower mp t3 wins imo.

Was it the mix of b-roll different angles and the vlogging? Any suggestions going forward? I'm trying new things to see what works, any advice would be great!

@@PinkhatPhotography The random cutting out to silence, when you're in the middle of talking, makes it very hard to keep up and stay focused on what you're speaking about.

@@PinkhatPhotography I don't make videos like this, so take my thoughts with a large grain of salt. But I have a few feedback points purely from a viewer's perspective: 1. It's choppy. Transitions between segments are pretty rough, and instead of following what's actually happening, I found myself thinking about the pretty average editing. That made me miss a lot of your actual content. 2. As someone else mentioned, there are times when you cut yourself off mid-sentence. 3. Too much body movement when speaking. I also do this as soon as there's a camera on me; I completely lose the ability to stand and move naturally, everything looks forced and artificial. 4. Unnatural speech. I bet you wouldn't use those same speech patterns and inflections if we were sitting in a room talking about this exact same subject but without a camera on you. But I took some useful information from the video anyway, so thanks for making it!

Dude you are 100 percent correct! I really dig the feedback I get here on youtube, this video is about 5 months old and I've been doing a lot to try and improve my cinematics, even doing a series on it, I was wondering if you would take a look at my most current video and leave feedback on there as well! I'd like to see a 3rd party give some feedback between the two videos! Thank you again for the details!
