i cant wait to get the r6. switched from my a7ii to the 5d mark iii because sony colors just dont work with my style. and yikes its tough getting used to no ibis and no mirrorless. mirrorless camears focus is so much more accurate

I would really love to see a canon RF 50 1.4. They haven’t updated that lens since 1993, when the EF version came out. If canon ever makes that, it would be cool to see what you’d shoot with it.

I agree - if they make it I would totally get it - the 50 1.8 is okay but there needs to be something to fill in in the middle - maybe around the 800-1200 price range and obviously compete with the sigmas and tamrons of the world.

Great video! Can you please make a video about how you get CLog on R6 to look great. Not grading, but color correction and correcting log. R6 is a first camera I shoot in log with and I don’t know much about grading log, bringing it into rec709 etc. Do you use any Canon official LUTs for color correction or do it manually?

Another question: As Lightroom doesn‘t provide Camera specific profiles for the Canon Rs and obviously never will (and the Adobe profiles are dramatically bad) - how do you face that problem? So why did you change to Sony than of the r5/r6 are so good in autofocus and this lens the sharpest you’ve used so far…? I used both systems and must say that the sharpness and focussing of canon is so much better overall. I’m pretty disappointed with the Sony a7iv it never nails the iris always tends to focus on eye lashes or eye brows, I also tested the Sony a7Rv and I was also disappointed with that one. The image quality with the canon combined with an rf L lens is just so much better in sharpness and focus accuracy. I cannot understand why so many KZbinrs hype the Sony cameras … for no reason honestly

Looong time Canon guy here. When the EF 50 1.2 came out in 2006, it was $1600. That’s $2450 in today’s dollars. The RF 50 1.2 is $2099 right now.
