The image on that thing is actually not that bad.. but the rolling shutter/readout speed is horrible. looks like the image is breaking apart with every movement. Feels like they wanted to get rid of some very old 1" sensors quickly.

What I like about the V10 is that I can plug it to my OBS, and I have a streaming camera. With a good microphone plugged in as well, I can record directly from my laptop

Yes, the Sony X3000 (which I have too, along with the Pocket 3- what a camera!!) did come out in 2016. But aside from that... At 1:16... Don't know if you noticed Kasey, but I think that was Anthony Hopkins in the background waving, though I didn't know he smoked! Either that, or Anthony has a closely resembled cousin living in Toronto. At 1:25... possibly another famous actor visiting Toronto who doesn't want to be recognized, behind you? Still use and love our 3000! Is it perfect, no, but pretty darn good. Good audio, decent stab and never fails. Not great for low light.

I have a Fimi Palm Pro 2 and Insta360 Go3 along with the Canon V10, and I must say that the V10 is the worst by far in terms of video quality. As you mentioned before, the shaking and jerkiness is absolutely nauseating. It's actually fun to use for photos though, since it's much easier to hold than my Google Pixel for quick shots.

I like DJI's colors. So filmic. Not very natural but so pleasing. Sony - strange look tbh. Red shirt looks like magenta, while the face is red. Would never buy. Canon - overly linear. The most natural but boring. That stabilization is sad. I think DJI is the clear winner here. As for that aperture, did you try turning ND filter on? Does it allow auto with more background blur? Taping on an external ND filter maybe?

Sony x3000 FTW! I'm about to release a bunch more videos that I shot with that thing! So small and nearly perfect. A few small tweaks in davinci I can get the dynamic range on par with modern day gopros, the low light even isn't as horrid as I once thought! Hopefully between us and a few more YT scrubs we can convince Sony to come back to Earth and update the best they've ever made! 😁

Since Canon at R system, they have been launching all prototype cameras... Must be the reason of why so many R5 and R6 broken shutters, freezing, over heating etc... R7 Ibis problems and shutter shake, with less than 90000 shutter actuations

Good comparison. At 2.04 minutes Canon definitely did better skin tone than DJI Pocket 3. However, Canon has already updated the firmware and you can check that, especially in stabilization. Also, the V10 is 90 dollars cheaper than the basic DJI pocket 3 model.

You guys are getting a rough deal on the Canon out in Canada. I think Canon UK has realised it's priced way to high for what it is. You can pick a V10 up for £309 versus the Pocket 3 at £489 from the same retailer. £180 buys alot of memory cards and less foot scrubbing 😂.

Currys apparently have it on their ebay store refurbed for just over £200 with one of the various coupons going around. I think it might not be a terrible shout at that price for a first-time Vlogger.

@@samohara5187 I bought one earlier this year for £320 with all the accessoriesbar the cage. It's OK, but it's OK but not perfect, luckily I don't film myself running across the street in slow mo. The worst things about it are the overheating and the short battery life.
