Canon WB SHIFT/BKT or White Balance Shift / Bracketing | EOS Rebel T7 - DSLR Photography

Do you even WB Shift/BKT bro? This video explains how to use the WB Shift/BKT feature on Canon Rebel Cameras (Canon T3 T3i T4i T5 T6 T6i T7 SL2 SL3 60D 70D 80D 90D M50 etc). Also known as White Balance Shift and Bracketing, this feature basically enables you shift the temperature and tint of your images in camera like you would in Photoshop or Lightroom. You can shift toward blue to make your images more cool, or toward red for a warmer look. As for the bracketing part, this allows you to "take" 3 photos at the same time, one being cooler, one in the middle and one warmer. Timestamps can be found below...

Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!!! This completely solved my problem with color balance in my modified Canon DSLR. I use it for astrophotography, and removed the IR cut filter to make it more sensitive to astronomical targets, but it shifts the WB toward red. Thanks 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Super helpful video as I am getting a Canon Rebel T7. I currently use a Canon 5D Mark iii. The 5D Mark iii is really good. And I upgraded from the 5D Mark ii. Now I am trying out a crop censor camera being the Rebel T7. The 5D Mark iii came out in 2012, and the Rebel T7 came out in 2018.

Can you please answer my question please? I need to set a WB to be 100% accurate. I photograph products and even if custom WB is set up with a proper grey card you can note distortion. Each camera has it and micro-adjustment is required to set it up right. Shift adjustment gives this option but how can I determine from two pictures (original and after WB adjusted in lightroom, photoshop or camera raw) the values I need to correct? Canon for now can't answer.Photoshop gives RGB values befoe and after but not good really to adjust G,M,B,A colors. Can you help me with it, please?
