Book specialist makes digital vision reality with Canon

With digital print, publishers can produce smaller quantities to trial a title and order further reprints depending on how well it sells. Book producer Livonia Print has built its business on analogue production processes, as they the needs of their publishing clients evolving.
Recognising that inkjet technology had reached offset quality, Livonia Print knew that the time was right to push through a digital transformation. Their digital book production began with the combination of a ColorStream continuous feed inkjet press and a VarioPrint i300 sheetfed inkjet press with MX ink.
