CanoScan LiDE300 LiDE400 (part3) Setup IJ Scan Utility, Searchable PDF and Autoscan

Hello! I got this scanner, but with the AutoScan button saves everything as PDF, even the photos. How can I configure the software to solve this? I want to save as JPG.

Hi, it works usually ok for me. For multiphoto scan make sure you have distance between photos. I made another video to get more into details for scanning photos. Maybe it helps, check from 3:00 kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGfcd2ltqdlokLc

Mines get stuck at: 1:27 and loads forever. I had it load for almost a whole day! I have no idea why, Ive looked and found no answer. Could you help me?

@@austin9988 Oh sure! I just deleted everything associated with the scanner. Like the software and everything and reinstalled it all. Yeah, I think it was the software for the CD or something, I reinstalled it through the online version, like the website. If you have anymore questions, I could make a mini video of how I solved it! :D

@@mothhhh3278 thank you for the help. I think it is an issue with my computer or it's USB ports. I tried what you suggested but for some reason it doesn't work on my win 7 PC, but I got it working on a win 10 laptop and macbook, so I guess that will do. Thank you!

My scanner allways insert the date in the name of the file saved. How can i eliminate the date of the files scanned?

In the preferences of the IJ Scan Utility you will find filename settings

check the cable, try another USB port, uninstall scanner, reboot PC and reinstall... just few tips that may help somtheing is wrong with the communication

When I attempt to scan something I get "Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons: - scanner is turned off - usb cable is disconnected" Anyone else have this issue???
