if you happen to have the turtle beach wireless that uses an external usb bluetooth then close out COD unplug the usb start your game back up then once in plug usb back in and it should work

Press Xbox guide button, Go to audio & music, Turn on microphone. That’s what happened to me somehow so somebody else probably has the same problem. Hope this helps!

My guy!!! This shit worked I finally got Coms again fucking game changer, I think when I got a new controller Coms were still connected to the old controller or something idk but it works, if you are having this issue try this!!!

Ok I have a question need some help . I'm on ps4 when I go to social account to join invite or whisper to my friends there all locked and I see a message above there name saying that user isn't playing mw2 but they are I can't join them but they can join me another issue I am having don't know if there related is I can't add new friends , and my 3rd issue still don't know if this is related but has to be is when friends do join me I can't hear them but they can hear me in party chat , even when I play with randoms there's a x by there name and I can't hear them I checked all my setting I have voice to lobby I have proximity on everything looks good but idk what's going on it does say the lobby is muted but I can't unmute the lobby for some reason

Found a solution and thought I’d share. If you keep your headset off until you are in the lobby, it works normally. The error must be occurring while the game launches.

no one has been able to solve my problem I am on an xbox (it happened on my xbox one and now it continues on my one x) and I can hear EVERYONE on an xbox and ONLY anyone on an xbox. if they are on a playstation or a computer I cannot hear them (in fact, they automatically have a little mute symbol next their volume indicator in the game) and they cannot hear me before the game starts you can see what system someone is on and its as clear as day: if they have an xbox symbol I know I will be able to hear them. its been like this for over a year. some games I will end up with 4 teammates on an xbox and we all can chat. other games 1 person has an xbox and the rest are muted and we can't chat. and some games everyone is on a different system so I can't chat with any of them. I know its not a matter of my setting being wrong in terms of my volume, output, etc because if they are on an xbox I can hear and chat with them just fine.

i think you should try to turn on your mic when your in the game idk if this would work if that dont work try to turn off your controller when your in the game then turn it back then connect your mic that worked for me

if your sayin wireless controller i would try to plug your mic out before you start the game then when your in the game plug it back in if that dont work when your in the game turn off your controller then turn it back on i did that and it worked
