I think that there really is something magical about this song, and MM's other more synth-pop-like songs... They really do evoke a lot of nostalgic feelings, even if it's the first time listening. I had that same experience listening to it the first time. And now, 10 years later, these feelings are mixed with even more, actual nostalgia and memories of listening to this growing up! Feels so bittersweet.

​@@numnum8357 IIRC, there were rumors that he joined and left Malice Mizer for greed, a fight between him and Mana, differences between the members, homophobia (despite him being bisexual), or because of a situation between him and the label he was working with when he was still a part of the band. Overall, these are rumors that have never been confirmed, the last rumor however is a possible lead.

この頃を生では知らず、ソロのGacktさんから遡って知りました。この曲のGacktさんはまさに王子様ですね。今のGACKTさんはそこに力強さと広い意味での優しさが増し、頼りになる兄貴(年下ですが)であり、良い意味で魔王様だと思います。そのまま留まるのではなく成長してますね。
