haha yeah but if you want a fun fact, there exists a band called Parfait, they broke up like in 2013. The guitarist was actually a female, which is extremely surprising.
@satouhikou11033 жыл бұрын
@@daoyang223 How is that extremely surprising. The guitarist in Band-maid was also female as was every member. The bassist for MSI is female as well. This is very common. Stop being ignorant.

Fun fact: The actual name of this song was actually supposed to be "Vers elle", which means "Towards her" in French. But they don't pronounce V and L in Japanese, so when turning the song into katakana, they got "ヴェル・エール", officially pronounced "Veru ēru" but usually mispronounced "Beru ēru", which was then mistranslated to "Bel air", which has sadly become the official transliterated title of this song. Thanks to my good friend Maddie Lunatique for helping me with this information.

Actually it’s Verte aile and Bel air. Two meanings are correct...if you want proof just go to watch the short movie. At 1:35 you can see both “Verte aile” and “Bel air” written on the screen. There’s no mistranslation, since it was Gackt’s idea which is also expressed in the images of that scene. The green scenery and the vast clear sky and wind explains the reasons for both titles! Hope it can clear the confusion.

@@ai_hime1707 Things might be green on screen but "Verte aile", despite being the official title of the movie (and only of the movie, not the song as far as I know) would mean Green wing in French. It literally has no meaning relating to the song and is grammatically incorrect. French mistakes are very common in Malice Mizer songs, and I say that as a french-speaking person. The katakana name makes it obvious that the intended word was "Vers elle", as "Bel air" in japanese is usually written ベル・エア and not ヴェル・エール. Also, "Vers elle" at least has a narrative connection to the song given the context of the movie (The character wanting to reach the woman who passed away). I hope what I said was easily understandable!
I find I revisit Malice Mizer every year or so to reminisce over my childhood. Listening to this, reading manga, and looking out my window. I don't know why, but the nostalgia overwhelms me often.

God, why don’t we have more Victorian-gothic themed bands like this? I remember being a huge fan of their music and Moi Dix Mois since I was a freshman in high school and I’m still a fan as a college junior.
