These are all fantastic! You are, without a doubt, the most creative DIYer on KZbin. I often wonder where you get your inspiration from? I'd love to see a video on how/where some of your ideas came about as well as the making of them.

I am 73 and have never heard that birds are bad luck🥴. I love birds and use them in my decor. These projects all turned out so beautifully🥰

I won’t believe birds and bad luck

It is supposed to be bad luck if a live bird comes into your house. But I have also been told that believing in superstitions is allowing the devil into your life.
@Thatsinteresting3638 сағат бұрын
Way back in my mother’s and mother in laws cultural beliefs, if a bird tries to get into your house by tapping on the window it means someone is going to die. Several months before my mother in law died a robin came to our conservatory for several days in a row and kept hitting the windows with its feet. We had little bird footprints on all sides of the conservatory in rows. It was very odd. Has never happened again.

Wow Sherry! Talk about thinking out of the box! One of my favs.

An owl can be a bad omen in native American culture. I also heard it was bad luck to decorate homes with peacock feathers. A northern cardinal is supposed to be a passed on love one visiting. I live along the foothills of the Appalachians and superstitions run deep down here. We eat a certain meal down here on January 1st for good luck😂 I try not to be superstitious, but it's in my blood.

Such great ideas today! You are so right, Sherry! When I have a hole in my heart, a bird's nest definitely fills that void. 😜

I love all your crafts. Been watching you for years and I love that you use birds, nest, eggs and bows in your crafts projects. Keep making your amazing flips. You turn junk Or everyday items into beautiful pieces. Keep making the magic happen.

I loved the happy mistake that created such a lovely rabbit. When you peeled the decoupage off, I immediately thought, Oh I hope she leaves it like that.😊 And you did. I also loved the two birds with the string. The heart box was too dark for my liking. You could barely see the little bird, but I love your creativity. As always I fall in love with your first projects thinking you can’t possibly create anything better. But you do. I honestly can’t decide which is my favorite. ❤❤❤❤

The rabbit is so sweet! I'm happy to see that birds and nests are back. You know what I was thinking? You could use tiny clothespins to hang little messages/quotes, and/or hearts, or flowers from the thread between the frames with the 2 sparrows. Wouldn't that look sweet?

I have several wooden bunny shapes similar to the one you used, after Easter a few years ago these were part of some hideous decor pieces! They were 90% off, I tore off sequins and sanded down the shapes! Covered one with some beautiful fabric, but put the others in my stash! I absolutely loved your idea! Also loved the swallows with string, I also have multiple frames and thinking of ways to connect them will occupy my winter time! Blessed and cozy winter days!
