Excellent video instruction for improving my Cantonese. Your classroom style presentation is effective for learning. Helpful to see both the Chinese characters and the English. Keep up the good work!

Quick question, a bit unrelated: what's the difference between using 'ge' and 'ma' as a question particle? I mean, when would you use 'ge' and when would you use 'ma'? Does it matter? Thanks in advance, and very useful video! :)

ge2 嘅 is related to asking "why", as in 點解咁嘅? dim2 gaai2 gam2 ge2 why it is like this? But dim2 gaai2 already signal a question, so ge2 is only an intonation modifier showing your "surprise". ma3 嘛 is more like a yes/no kind of question, as in 你好嘛? lei4 ho2 ma3 are you well? ma3 signals a yes/no question.

Technically, 得 and 到 are not adverbs, they are complements, 補語

得 is a verb meaning "gain" or "obtain", 到 can be a verb meaning "arrive" or a preposition, as in 達到 arrived "at".
