Dear Amanda, Thank you once again for a very informative lesson! I have one question, if you dont mind: when do we use "ge3" before a noun to show possession, rather than the qualifier? For example, can we say "keoi5 ge3 geng2" instead of " keoi5 tiu4 geng2" ? Thank you very much in advance! :)

I would say it's understandable to use "ge3" for all situations. More common for people e.g. my teacher, you can say ngo5 ge3 lou5 si1. But for the rest we use quantifier. For example kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGe9nHuGrM6jfLM

Thanks Amanda for another useful video. Just on a technical point concerning the lighting, I think showing the widow produced too much daylight and therefore it was harder to see you. Apart from that the graphics look great.🤓

Is the measure word necessary? Or is it acceptable to just say "keoi5 tao4" or "ngo5 tao4"? Thank you!

Unfortunately yes, especially when you say it alone. Sometimes when people say a sentence fast, like "her head is very big", you might hear people drop the measure word. But normally the measure word is always stick with the noun, except for people. e.g. my dad.... "ngo5 baa4 baa1"
