At a moving multi-religious gathering at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Pope Francis, together with Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Greek Orthodox, and other religious leaders remembered those who perished on 9/11 and prayed for peace.
Cantor Schwartz, sang the memorial prayer Eil Maleh Rahamim with the text adapted to the 9/11 victims. He closed with Oseh Shalom: May the One who makes peace on high bring peace to us and to all Israel and to all who dwell on earth. Amen.

Rabbi Schwartz is an incredible cantor. When he sings, his voice fills ones ears, ones mind and ones heart with the spirit and presence of G-d, evoking joy in times of happiness and peace and comfort in times of sadness.

He was singing with his small voice, HaShem hears all, and for a Catholic to know these words, I am with you. We all MUST move forward out of this nightmare. No more death from COVID-19 or any other, no more violence at the hands of the corrupt.

I have no denomination at all, but seeing people of ALL religions come together under prayer, regardless of who it is that's leading it, is absolutely beautiful. Goes to show that the desire for love and peace and unity is actually more inherent to humanity than we care to admit. This moved me to tears, what a gift, what a voice...

I found this on the internet. Here is the first part of the prayer, El Rahamin, an ancient prayer for mourners. Note that Gan Eden means the Garden of Eden. Cantor Avi revised it for 9/11 victims. The closest equivalent for the Shechinah for Christians is the Holy Spirit, but Jews do not believe in The Trinity, in this case, it means the Divine Presence. "O G-d, full of compassion, Who dwells on high, grant true rest upon the wings of the Shechinah, in the exalted spheres of the holy and pure, who shine as the resplendence of the firmament, to the souls of Victims of September 11th who [have] gone to their eternal home; may their place of rest be in Gan Eden. Therefore, may the All-Merciful One shelter them with the cover of His wings forever, and bind their souls in the bond of life. The Lord is their heritage; may they rest in peace; and let us say: Amen!".

@@jgalindes You are really dishonest. The EL Maleh RAHAMIM Prayer is the Orthodox prayer for each Jew who died This is the Translation you can find in Wikipedia O G‑d, full of compassion, Who dwells on high, grant true rest upon the wings of the Shechinah (Divine Presence), in the exalted spheres of the holy and pure, who shine as the resplendence of the firmament, to the soul of (mention his Hebrew name and that of his father) who has gone to his [supernal] world, for charity has been donated in remembrance of his soul; may his place of rest be in Gan Eden. Therefore, may the All-Merciful One shelter him with the cover of His wings forever, and bind his soul in the bond of life. The Lord is his heritage; may he rest in his resting-place in peace; and let us say: Amen. Cantor ADI SCHWARTZ is not an orthodox Jew but A Reform Jew and he included in his prayer all persons who died in September 11 2001 terrorist attacks , whatever their religion was. The word TERROR is clearly understandable pronouced by the CANTOR. If you knew the Jewish religion better, you would know that in each of the 3 Religious prayers of each day of the orthodox jews there is a prayer for all human beeings obeying the Last 7 commandments of Moses called The NOAH's Commandments and they are said actually for all human beings believing in God or not, a far as they obey the moral laws vis a vis each human being. Cantor Adi Schwartz said after the MALEH RAHAMIM Prayer The OSE SHALOM Prayer Where it is said "(o God) Bring Peace upon us and upon all the people of Israel but at th last sentence he added and upon all mankind ........... It is obvious that Jews believe that God Chose them for propagating The MORAL LAW TO ALL MANKIND. This Choice or "election"is God is not a symbol of superiority but a a hard moral duty and responsability. "THou shall be for me a Nation of PRIIESTS". All Rabbis and Jews know that God chose the smallest and powerless group of human beings for disclosing who " he" is for Mankind, THE GREATNESS OF HIS NAME and what "he" expects from each human being. For Jews The moral law is Moses 's Law with its interpretations with time but with IMPERATIVE INVARIANTS. Saul of Tarsus (Saint Paul for the Christians) decided to renounce, to give up to the Law of Moses with the goal of winning the battle against Romans by ethical Rules involving the abrogation of the strict rules of Moses Law. The Jews do not believe that The Unique God exists under Three Forms, They still believe in the Moses Law and believe that this Law is valid in the World existing after Death. They do not adhere to the New Testament. They still do not believe Jesus was the Messiah since there was none general resurrection of the dead people.......They Believe that all human beings are sons and daughters of God and that Jesus was just one of them. Thus YES there are diverse religions separated by different dogmas and conceptions of the World. This Oecumenic prayer should not be a matter of conflict and contentions. There are diverse denominations of Jews, of Christians , of Muslims.......etc We should find what is common and live in peace and not create conflicts, especially by using religions as pretext. Everybody is entitled to have his or her own faith as far as this Faith is not a source of hatred against any Human beeing
