I’m not even Jewish but my goodness this was beyond beautiful. So beautiful. From a druid to a Jew, may we always love each other and wish for peace for all. Thank you for the beautiful music and wonderful memories of your loving Grandfather. My father was cruelly taken at 60 from a rare aggressive cancer, he was strong and brave and stoic from beginning to end. May our ancestors be in peace and love, always.

It's great that you decided to open up to others about your story and family, the boys have a good voice and are starting to sing well, but if they want, they should still practice their vocals under the supervision of Father Kantor. My family cantorial tradition dates back to the beginnings of Jerusalem and then its transfer to Spain, from there the Kantor family (Hazzan) went to both South America with the conquistadors and the other part to eastern Europe - Hungary and Russia and then to Poland (Polin). We have been in Poland since 1288, we founded the Schola Cantorum in Krakow, in Warsaw we actively participate as Cantors in collecting for synagogues in Poland, singing and teaching. Together with other Rabbis and cantors, we built our Great Synagogue in Warsaw, and finally the tragedy of the Holocaust of our nation took place, all the great Cantors from Poland left this world. However, the descendants of money changers in Poland (Polin) remained and continue the tradition, customs and religious customs of their ancestors - recreating what was left of them... We really hope that such a sunny day will come to Polin and a modern synagogue will be rebuilt in Warsaw, where all the Cantors from this Earth will sing.

Thank you Cantor Schwartz. We are gentile messianic believers in The El of Israel and followers of Torah. We found your channel searching regarding Yom Teruah. Our hearts were touched by your inclusion of your father and the words of this beautiful prayer to our Elohim which your precious sons sang with you also brought tears to our eyes, May The Eternal One YHWH bless you and your family in these set apart days as Yom Kippur draws near. Shalom from New Zealand
