I finally got the Cantu argon oil and it's like it doesn't moisturize at all 😣😣😣 so confused because it has all the fixings of a great moisturizer

I am a new subscriber. I definitely love your channel I just relaxed my hair two weeks ago. I wanted to use the Cantu shea butter leave-in conditioning repair cream on my hair. I actual bought it already so am planning to use it after shampooing my hair as a leave in treatment. My question is can I still use the aloe gel along with it? I saw this idea in one of your videos, I really like the idea.

Chansadie Hair bought the profectiv and just washed, conditioned and tried it. It’s very good. Left my hair soft and light. Also use the Cantu and it’s not as softening as profectiv

Im natural but im hoocked on ur videos. Thanks for answering my question about my wanting to relax. I have another question for you, for some reason my hair keeps shedding a lot! Like it's coming out every time I put my hand in my head. Any suggestions? By the way I think the mega grow was better than the Cantu

Hey Abigail. Thanks for always watching 💜. I'm no cosmotelogist but if the amount of hair that's coming out seems alarming, you probably should go to the doctor to make sure everything is good. If you don't think it's at that stage then I'll tell you what I do when I notice more than the usual shedding. First,I use a clarifying shampoo. So now, we are talking about a shampoo WITH sulfates in it. Sometimes we shed because our hair follicles are clogged up from all the build up of products. Once you've done that do a protein treatment, look for a product that has Hydrolyzed Collagen or Hydrolyzed Keratin etc in the ingredients... strengthening proteins. Afterwards use your favorite rinse out/ moisturizing conditioner to soften back up the hair.

Chansadie Hair No I haven’t used either of them, but I do use the ‘Cantu Shea butter leave-in Mist’ which is a water based version. This is because it hydrates and detangles my hair

Cantu really has some great products. I went into the beauty supply store yesterday and saw they had a Shea Butter Smoothing Leave In on a bottle.. I liked the Mega Grow leave in but I have found so many uses for this Cantu I really don't need to repurchase the Mega Growth 😁

Hi Sacha. Thanks for stopping by Sometimes I do oil afterwards but mostly when I'm moisturizing between washes. On wash days I prefer to put a liquid leave in then an oil before a thicker leave in.

@@SachaBloom Check out the LOC vs LCO method of moisturizing. I don't think there is a big difference between the two for my hair. it's just that the oil before a thick moisturizer seems to help the thicker products to melt easier on my hair 🤷. My sealant oil is a mixture of Castor oil and Jojoba Oil. Castor oil has made a big difference in making and keeping my hair soft. Which oils do you use on your hair?

😏 u messing with me boo 😆 One wash day I did a protein treatment and I was too lazy to use a moisture Conditioner and I used the Care Free Gold. This was before I bought the Cantu though. It did the job but I've come to love the thicker leave-ins.

I tried the Shea Butter some years ago and I didn't really care for it either. It made my hair feel crunchy. It has a bunch of proteins that can make the hair dry with daily use.
