African pride has a honey, chocolate and coconut oil rinse out conditioner, & it works so well on my hair. (our hair types are similar). I use it as a pre poo!

Great comparison video. I have never been able to use Cantu. It left flakes in my hair and made my hair dry and hard. I haven't tried the new formula though.

I currently use the cantu one! I like it! Probably mostly for the amount u get and the price lol- I like the african pride one too just hard to find

I found the African Pride leave in conditioner at Dollar General. It was only about $3.

I prefer the texture and the smell of the African pride leave in. It’s harder to find in stores though

The african pride stings my scalp like it has menthol or something and im scared that im allergic since i dont see other people talking about the cooling effect.
