Bunch of hypocrites. Expanding to a 12 team playoff was not about getting the "best" 12 teams in. It was about accessibility to the playoffs. Notre Dame... SMU... Even an outside chance for Army at one time. I live in Texas. If your high school senior ranks in the top 10% of their high school, they are automatically accepted to a university in Texas. Regardless of the quality of high school. They don't look at the top 11% at the best high school in Texas and say they are more deserving then the top 9% at the worst high school.

Yet Bama beat lsu badly who beat Oklahoma. Basically I wouldn't put to much stock in that bama performance against Oklahoma. Heck they beat Georgia who was number 1. They beat badly Wisconsin who the number 1 team Oregon only beat by 3 at the end of game. Alabama is one of the best 12 teams
