Did you watch Oklahoma? They would have destroyed any single team in the country that night. You have to give credit to their gameplan and performance. Here's who Alabama and Miami have played in the final 3 games: Alabama: Beat FCS Mercer, Beat 5-7 Auburn, and lost by 21 to 6-6 Oklahoma, who's ONLY other conference win was against that SAME 5-7 Auburn team Miami: Lost by 5 to 7-5 Georgia Tech on the road, the same team that took Georgia to 8OT in Athens, beat 4-8 Wake Forest (not a good win but still a way better win than Mercer), and lost by 4 to a ranked 9-3 Syracuse on the road If these final 3 games schedules and results were swapped, not one single person would be arguing for Miami to make it over Alabama. Here's the fix that ESPN really wants: Take the top two teams in the Big 10 take the winner of the Big 10 title game between Oregon and Penn State and pair it up with the Top 11 teams in the SEC: Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Missouri, Texas A&M, LSU, Florida, and Arkansas. Seed Texas as the #1 seed and Seed Bama as the #2 seed, Georgia as the #3 Seed, and Tennessee as the #4 seed. The winner between Oregon and Penn State send them to Ole Miss in the first round of the play offs because the SEC is just that much better than everyone else in the nation.
