I like Lindholm but I think Blueger plays a more grittier game and can chase after pucks better and that third line will be great. Hoglander has been pretty quiet and unnoticeable recently. I want to see him with Miller and have Boeser and Lindy with Petterson. I was never a big Myers fan, but i gotta say he played pretty amazing in game 1 and his absence in game 2 was noticed. Please please please scratch Juulsen. I do not know why people don't see how much of a liability he is in crucial moments of the games. As for goalies... I don't know man. If the Preds are going to block shots, then forget the fancy muffin throws, we need big shots that put them at risk at dropping affective man coverage if they get hurt. It's 1-1 in the series. Sooo far from over. If you think it is then you're no fan, you're just a troll. As for the game, almost every guy on the team had a weak game. Miller looked progressively more frustrated as the game went on - shots not connecting, fanning on shots, fumbling; Hughes falling over, plays not connecting, mis-reading plays; They lost as a team. Still, Pettersson was the worst. He needs to step out of his head and just play - he's over-thinking everything then when a play falls off the rails he gets more hesitant and it escalates. Add to that some stupidly unlucky bounces and a top-notch defence from Nashville and the game was lost.

Everything was going right early in the season. Now Demko is out and Pettersson is struggling. Things may just be evening out. At the beginning of the year, fans thought they'd be happy with a wildcard spot. Then all of a sudden, they were going to win it all, without looking at the analytics and advanced stats. Now, they suck. The truth is somewhere in between and I've felt that way all year. For the Canucks to win under normal circumstances, they need to play within their system, score timely goals and their goaltending has to routinely steal games. That's always been the reality since October. That doesn't mean they can't win with DeSmith or Silovs, but a lot of things have to go right for them. In reality, this should be a very even series, but if they don't get unreal saves and don't score, they're done. I'm not blaming DeSmtih whatsoever. When you only score once in a game, you don't deserve to win.

Trade Hronek sign Zadorov. Pedersen off the power play play. Zadorov in front of the 2nd unit pp. Need to change it up.

DeSmith was the least of their problems in this game. Call it just stank luck or whatever, but some of those nuck chances needed to hit the net and they just didn’t.🤷🏻♂️ Petey getting snake bit and missing a half open net,was my signal to go to bed. It just wasn’t our day. Maybe I’ll leave it at that.

nah he was just awful, bad positioning, soft goals nothing new

Some players are built for the playoffs, some aren’t, not to complicated.

ya u dont pay a guy 11.5 if he cant win in the playoffs, not complicated at all

It's Petey's first taste of real playoff hockey. Of course he's going to be nervous and gripping the stick tightly. Toccett's got to talk to him and get him to relax. Play with intensity, but relax. Plenty more hockey to be played. Every sports media predicted this series would go the distance, so Vancouver media, and fans, have to calm their mammory glands. Canucks out shot, and out worked, the Preds. Puck luck is a thing, and they just got bit. But they stuck through and played a hell of a game.

Could have, would have, should have. That’s the way the cookie crumbles. Stop whining and let the team play. They are good and next time the breaks they had will pay off. There an old saying that if the dog hadn’t stop to take a crap he would have caught the rabbit.

It seems no one likes to lift the puck, majority of the shots are low.

Petterson needs to stop counting his money and show up and play......or prove again he's too small for the playoffs.

Hockey gods hate the Nucks.

Trade Pettersson in the off-season. Guy is a complete joke. Misses a completely empty net and also gives a puck away leading to a goal. 11.5 million dollar anchor.

@Chilliwackbcfun At this point I agree. Also Tocchet needs to smarten up and stop changing the lines constantly. There's no reason whatsoever for Juulsen to be playing unless there's a significant injury. He's a worthless plug.

Who on earth would be so stupid to take on Patterson‘s contract those people who are saying trade him in the off-season well, nobody would want them. We screwed up big time once again we’re stuck with him

lol thats a real shame Canucks fans arent happy. A real shame

Petey’s gotta lay off playing the late night video games.

Vancouver would have aa better chance if they played with 6 players on the ice with no goalie.

Wasn't going to be a sweep anyhow.

Playoff hockey is a complete different animal. It’s for real hockey players and never meant for the soft and weak legged Petey. He wishes to get out of the round asap and hit the ⛳️ under the Florida ☀️ by next weekend. Oh, the $11M pay check comes in very soon too so he would be very busy counting 💴💴.

Petey needs to stop that BS dropping to his knees and looking to the sky. The game was still in play and he drops to his knees. Hughes standing behind the net with 17 seconds left. Just standing there with that glum look on his dopey face. Hughes needs to stop dropping the puck back into their own zone. Once in awhile yeah, but it wastes a lot of time. The other night he skated right to Nashville blue line and then passed the puck back past the centre line into their own zone. Yeah he can skate on a dime and pass while on the fly, but he wastes a lot of time and momentum while everyone is standing at the blue line waiting for him.

Are all Canadiens like Canucks fans? You know, only being supportive when its going good... Many of you are like whiny little girl's
