Fabulous! I have the whole Adobe suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign - -I just invested in Cava Pro -- and this Canva magic-eraser feature is SO much easier than fiddling around with the erase feature either in photoshop or InDesign.

Hey Paddy, your top G, man. One to share with you. In Canva, the position tab now has LAYERs, thought I share that with you and the tribe

I noticed this today too with position tab layers, can’t get it to do much apart from change background layer colour. But looks like a nice new toy to play around with

Hi Paddy, thanks for highlighting this great feature! I gave up on background eraser so this is just what I needed. Is there a way in MJ to give it a colour image to convert to b&w colouring page line drawing image? I Tried unsuccessfully. Say if you have a stunning colour cover design that you want to have as a colouring page image in your manuscript - what method/ hack can you recommend? Wondering if there’s a way to reverse engineer from colour to line drawing in MJ
@StackinProfit Жыл бұрын
thanks and I don't think there is, the best way would be to start with your coloring pages then create the cover out of one of the coloring pages, you could color it in online or higher a colorist on fiverr then turn it into the cover

Thanks for this, Photoshop now has a similar AI. With the circle above the right of the owl, I think if you tried to remove that it would replace it with the background image, it's all magic 🙂

So this is about digital only covers and not Print On Demand covers? KDP that most are using requires if you also want POD you must have 300dpi and 2560 x 1600 for a 6 x 9 inch cover. Also you have to get the spine width right for your page count. Could you do a video that includes that? Isn't page count critical or you get too narrow or too wide of a spine? How did you get the cover you erased the lettering on within MidJourney? I thought MJ doesn't have a cover creator, right? I think I made a mistake making my cover images for my trilogy on MJ because they are only 96dpi and a WEBP file and KDP only takes JPG and TIFF files. Also when you convert the WEBP file to JPG or TIFF you lose dpi and get only 75dpi. How do you increase 75dpi to 300?

Thanks for this! I’m curious if you’ve found a good method to either avoid gradients/grayscale in your coloring pages from MidJourney or to easily get rid of the gradients afterward? I just finished a coloring book and ended up doing a lot of manual fixes in photoshop to make each page more colorable. I’d imagine some people don’t mind gradients, but it seems the best pages don’t have it. It helped to vectorize it first and then delete the chunks in Illustrator, but that still took loads of time.

When you create book cover with MJ is there a way to avoid these random words appearing there? Maybe a command "no words"?
@StackinProfit Жыл бұрын
yes there are multiple ways but if you want your cover to look more like a cover then you need to use cover words which means that you need to remove all of the words from the image
