You'll probably read as you learn about flint napping or you may already know to make a blade from the rocks and possibly obsidian, you need a respirator otherwise you'll inhale the small flakes of rock/glass particles. I use 3 wet stones to sharpen my swords, an an double edge hand axe, 360 grit, 980 mesh, an 4000 mesh. it sharpens it so sharp, you can hold a piece of paper in one hand an cut it with the sword or axe, like butter.

Hey guys when you're fixing the roof cover on the shelter start from the bottom then work up making sure you overlap the previous as this allows a little extra waterproofing. I would love to be able to go into the woods or mountains and think that I could be the only person that ever sets foot there and not ever have the world disturb you. Great video love it.

to cover your lean too next time use the pine needles bunched up aligned up and down. I grew up in San Bernardino and spent my whole summers in the mountains living off the land. fishing hiking and trapping for food. loved it. been watching your videos remembering my childhood.keep looking to see if you guys go passed one of my trail marks i used to leave. if you all ever have any questions on useful plants and animals in the San Bernardino mountains or any other survival stuff let me know. i went from my out doors child hood there to eventually becoming a sere instructor as an adult. cant wait for more videos.

TIP: Don't place the branches where the "stick" end is pointing up...have them point down and falling debris and rain will flow off of the structure naturally...and start from the bottom and work up...
