Darkstalkers has a beautifully design character select screen. I have no idea why Capcom replaced it with a black background for the sequel, and then a naff looking tomb for Vampire Savior.

It is a work of art! I don't remember the character select screens on the sequels, I think I only had those on the Sega Saturn back in the day. I love the horror genre anyway, which is why the Darkstalkers series appeals to me :) Thanks for watching mate.

@@AussieFreakGamers You're welcome. Your channel is a trove of brilliant game stuff. I had 2 and 3 on the Saturn, too. To this day I've never played the original Darkstalkers. Hopefully I can get a hold of a B-Board from somewhere. Keep up the great work 👍

@@markg5480 Thank you mate 🙂 To be honest, The stuff featured on my channel is only a small part of what I own. I have made a load more videos but just haven't got around to uploading them...takes hours on my internet connection to upload 1 video! I go through phases where I make/upload several videos at a time, so hoping to upload some more shortly. Good luck on picking up more boards. I've noticed the price increases on virtually everything since the pandemic...hopefully I'll also be able to pickup a few more boards. Cheers mate

​@@AussieFreakGamers No worries. What games do you play the most when/if you find the time? I No matter how many consoles or systems I bought over the years, I'd always go back to playing CPS2 fighting games (or Worms if I had someone to play against) so I thought it would make sense to sell everything else and buy a consolized CPS2. I could never get into Street Fighter 3, and as much as I loved playing JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I found the difficulty curve too insanely steep to enjoy it casually. CPS2 was peak arcade Capcom, imo.

@@markg5480 For the past couple of months in particular, the only free time I've been able to get has been a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon, the same Sunday afternoon 😢 the game I've been playing, Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS5. I am really enjoying it, love the whole futuristic Blade Runner feel of the game. When I have less than 30 minutes to game, usually it is the Astro City running one of my CPS2 boards. My favourite out of my boards is Super Street Fighter 2, reminds me of the good old days playing Street Fighter on the Snes 🙂 Which Consolized CPS2 do you have? I bet that was pricey?! I enjoy those games you mentioned, especially SF3 Third Strike. Playing against the CPU on the higher difficulty settings is always frustrating, these fighters are always best played with mates.
