You’re right on about the fireballs. Doing a sweep is almost always followed by a fireball because of the desire to create an intuitive block string. Block stun isn’t as crucial in this game because of strong punish options via the roll.

xmen children of the atom ... my brother and I grew up playing that game on arcade in the early 90s... thats where all the move sets for the marvel chars from marvel v capcom came from... wolverines berserker barrage x, cyclops gene splice combo, storm's hail storm were all first present in that game

It's a Capcom game, and most fans are Sf fans (mostly or only), most of the Capcom side of the roster is Sf, and most of the Snk roster is bad. So probability seems to be heading to Sf picks most of the time...

If they ever did a Mortal Kombat versus Street fighter the best part about that is that they could take a lot of those run animations from this game CVS two calf conversa in case who which had all the cap con characters with the running animation because of the SNK groove but for chrissake if they ever make a cab converse SNK3 which I believe they will do within the next few years hopefully there’s no rolling allowed in the game I think the game is so good without it or dodging or any of those weird as in came mechanics that take away all the fun from its two dimensional fighter

No, this game is underrated. The mechanics in this game were ahead of its time along with Third Strike and MVC2. If they did do a revamp of this game, I’d be playing it nonstop. This is a definite classic that never gets old.
