This is different from you’re usual format, but I like it. Very informative. Thanks for another great video.

You asked what other places around the Cape we'd like to see from the air? Last time I was up at the Cape was 2006 and I was unable to travel around. Prior to that it was 2001 and I went to the Chatham Lighthouse, Nauset Beach Lighthouse, Three Sisters Lighthouse and the Highland Lighthouse (Cape Cod Lighthouse). Love to see all those from the air especially that cliff by the Highland Lighthouse. And isn't there a windmill near Eastham? I'd love to shoot star trails over the windmill. BTW, I shoot with a K-1ii and a K-70 as well as a Sony a6000. I've shot some star trails from my back deck at my house. Was really surprised it was dark enough for them to come out. Have also shot star trails at Brasstown Bald in the north Georgia mountains. Lowest light pollution in the state.

Thanks for the reply and I appreciate you watching the video! Almost everything you mention are all great locations...they are also in a Federal No-Fly zone (National Parks) except the windmill. My drone won't even permit take off on the National Seashore due to preprogrammed geo-fencing BUT if at some point I can get permission through the proper channels, I will do this for you! And congrats on all the Pentax gear. Great combo. I bet that area has super dark skies. Also, central West Virginia has some amazing spots too.

@@CapeNightPhotography I don't own a drone and am not familiar with the regulations surrounding them. Good to know. Someone was flying a drone when I got my first really good star trails shot up on Brasstown Bald. That is a state park so I don't know if the federal regs would apply to it or not. Wish they did. My first film 35mm camera in 1986 was a Ricoh Kr30sp that had a K-mount and then a Pentax ZX-M. Since then I just stuck with K-mount lenses and it was just a natural move in 2006 to my first DSLR, the K100D, then K500, KS-2, K-70 and K-1ii. Many of the lenses I use are manual focus Pentax-A type lenses. (Pentax-A 20mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.4, and a Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 etc) and I love the fact that they are all stabilized because of the IBIS in all those Pentax DSLR camera's I've used over the years. I have a KZbin channel as well and you can see a star trails shot I did from my back deck that had clouds move in during the shot. I made a video of it and it is pretty cool!
