Thank you Julio. My children are getting to the age that makes it easier to start another project. I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the Com-Pac project. I really loved that journey and the boat sailed like a dream, which made the project even more worth it! You will notice the baby monitor baby in some of my shots showing I’m not out of the woods yet :) so, expect slower progress this time around. Haha.

Good luck. Bought a 76 CD25 this summer. Launched her in Gloucester and fifteen minutes later I was on my way to Penobscot Bay in Maine. Great little boat. I have a soft spot in the cockpit that needs addressing, but that will have to wait until spring.

Ah, good stuff! Congratulations. I looked at one with a soft cockpit sole. Water was getting in from the rubber / shaft connection. I completely rebuilt the sole on a Pearson 26 I had. It was a serious job, but you it was nice having a solid floor under my feet! Good luck sailing!

On my 1974 25ft cd I cut the water tank out, it looked really bad and I made another compartment in front of it. Mine had a toilet that I pulled out as well. I haven't worked on her for a while, hope to get the back on her soon. Working on my cd 19ft typhoon right now almost done on her. I have some videos on KZbin don't know if they would help. Good luck and hope you get yours fixed up.

Thanks for the comment whitetail. A Typhoon is a worthy project! I’ll be watching for some CD25 updates though :)

You could let the ocean wash that off when you keep the rails buried?
