Cape Horn! Solo Sailor Simon Curwen: Onboard footage from Chile to LSO

Simon Curwen on board Clara/Howdens was the first to cross the equator and first to pass all three film gates on his round-the-world voyage. However, on January 27, 2023, Simon's hydrovane was damaged after a knock-down in a Southern Ocean storm with large seas. He arrived safely in Puerto Montt, Chile, on 9 February 2023 in order to repair his windvane and sprayhood after 156 days at sea. Simon continued his voyage in 'Chichester Class' and was first home in Les Sables d’Olonne.
