Thanks Mike, Good to hear from you . Say hi to "N" from us. Haven't been more than 200 miles from home since March, but these short trips are OK where we can stay away from people and choose what we do and feel like we're close enough to home to get back quickly. We do a lot of bicycle riding!

Did the same thing with the 4104 a couple of years ago and parked about where you were on the ferry. After going upstairs and walking around , looked down at the bus realizing how bad the center of the roof looked, when I got home it got painted .Have fun.

I really enjoyed the video John. You definitely captured the experience. I will say it's a more enjoyable crossing when the sun is shining! In my opinion the ferry option is a no brainer when traveling to the Delaware and Maryland shore from New Hampshire. The alternate route of the NJ Turnpike and the drive from Wilmington through Dover and down towards Lewes is really tedious. The Ferry is a nice relaxing break from the drive. To make you feel better about the cost comparison, when you add the toll for the Delaware Memorial Bridge to your fuel total you are very close to the fare for the Ferry. Plus you saved 150 miles of crappy driving!

Thanks Cliff. I tried to post that on the Ferry website so that others could see what it was like and they told me I wasn't allowed to advertise my stuff on their website. ?????

Haha House of the Rising Sun ringtone. I would choose the ferry as well. I do that here with Whidbey Island to Port Townsend just to avoid the traffic of Seattle. They drive like complete jerks in Seattle. Often there is a wreck on I5. I see your friend want a place in Revelstoke or Nelson. I live in BC but on the Coast. Do they like snow I hope do because where they are choosing it can and will snow a foot per housr at times. It snows ALOT. Nelson is to hard to get in and out of in the winter. Housing in demand there too. I used to have big trucks and was all over Western Canada so have some experience.

Hi Gary, Rising Sun, one of the all-time greatest songs, IMHO. (and it's a tone I can hear!) Yes, Unicat friends love the snow and back country skiing. But, they would prefer to be in a house or apartment for the winter. It's tough in that climate to be in the truck especially when they have no hookups. If you know if anyone in the Nelson area that has anything, let me know. They're really screwed with Covid restrictions, can't cross back into the US.

the ferry is quicker, it would take close to two hours to drive it, and you would have to deal with traffic. thank you for taking us along

Great video John, I see your taking great care of my Bus, Thank you. I've been all over the Country but never visited your neck of the woods, going to need to pencil a trip in sometime. I'd start in N.Carolina and work my way up to Main. Not sure if you posted or I missed the time it took to take the ferry across the Delaware, that was very interesting, I've seen pictures of those Ferry's, but never seen one in person, didn't know they were big enough to put my bus on and float away on it..lol. Don't you love those pneumatic windshield wiper motors, we have the same things on the Locomotives we operate. One day I turned on the wipers and it went haywire, started cycling so friggin fast the wiper arm bent, broke and flung the wiper blade across the tracks, I think a pressure regulator doodad broke or something?. Thanks again for sharing your video with us John, have a great day!!! 🇺🇸✌️

Hey Eric, The ride across is 85 minutes. Never seen a pneumatic wiper do that! That's Crazy!! Taking care of your bus...yes! ;-) Didn't really like all the salt spray from the waves getting on it tho. Washed it good when we got home. The east coast is nice. You should come sometime.

Hahaha...you're the first person who's noticed that. Apropos for the ferry ride, wouldn't you say... Thanks for watching (The flag has been there for as long as I can remember.

Thanks Mike, I thought so too. Tell Dale, he doesn't like anything. I guess his mother didn't teach him the old adage, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Anyway, my next video will be for him on how to turn the volume down when watching KZbin videos. Obviously the content is overwhelming to "some people." Thanks for your kind comment!

Oh, the music ruins it! '

Yea, I get comments both ways on the music. Seems like a long time to watch a silent movie and music options are hard to find due to copyright issues. Hope you liked the rest of it.
@Chesterbarnes14 жыл бұрын
It was the wrong music. It bombarded us. Soft classic or popular music if u must. Your commentary was on where u going, pros and cons on the bus or scenic beauty around you anything but that loud music. Verbal commentary better.

@@Chesterbarnes1 Well then I gotta warn you, I think the same song is in a couple of other videos, so you better not watch them. I think New York is one of them. It has fast forward also. Sorry.

Yes, I know that. I'm usually correcting others about that also. Auto correct changed it and I missed it when I posted it. After it's posted, it can't be changed without deleting the video and starting over and I figured that was too much trouble. It's spelled correctly on the video listing but not in title page within the video. Thanks for the catch, but we're both just going to have to live with it. Hope you enjoyed the video anyway. Thanks for watching!
