As a capetonion nothing beats the sight of seeing Table mountain if you have been out of the City for a few days or weeks or even years ,the Mountain just makes one very happy its our Mountain

I remember a few years ago when I came home from the Netherlands and drove to work on the Monday, as I was driving towards the mountain I just started crying because I missed it ... or perhaps it was more that the Netherlands is so flat lol ... but ja Cape Town has its issues ... I think we should just acknowledge that there is abject poverty in many places in the world ... even in the so called first world. Let us all try to help who we can around us. Be kind to one another. And yes to me Cape Town is incredible ... because it is home.

Just arrived back from South Africa to the USA, and to me, Cape Town and The Western Cape are the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The locals were very open to sharing their stories and were not shy in discussing the issues faced / still being faced in the city and country as a whole. The natural beauty is almost indescribable. The poverty is hard to ignore, but we felt a sense of hope with the people that better times lay ahead. Through all the challenges faced by the people of South Africa, they remain so resilient. The people of South Africa were so warm, friendly, welcoming, and honest. Never felt played, cheated or that they harbored resentment towards us being both American and German. They seemed to judge everyone on their own, and matched energies. I can only hope that visitors to my country thought the same of me that I felt in my interactions with people in South Africa. We fell in love with South Africa and saw so much potential there. We understand many issues faced there, but the people really seemed ready to fight for a better future together. We cannot wait to return to South Africa, and can’t wait to meet more people and learn from them.

@ thank you! It was life changing there. We went not just to lay around, but to explore, to listen, and to learn. We also really loved that those who experienced apartheid could share their own stories to us, rather than have it taught by somebody else who did not. We got tattoos while there and my artist’s family were evicted from district six as children, so he was kind enough to share their stories with me. We found a resilience and strength in the people that really stood out. They’ve gone through so much, yet they still keep pushing on. For as long as we can make the journey, we’ll continue going back. We just one time may decide not to return home!

I have been to 59 countries. Cape Town stays at the top of my list. Nature, weather, food and easy to access to many attractions in minutes are my favorites. I think crime is exaggerated and is not a big deal. Global crime issues are increaing everywhere. You cant take your iphone out in London 😁 I am happy that Cape Town is not hyped like Bali. Cape Town is a quintessential city. We love it.

I wish you can use another filter and music. Your editing makes it seem like it's not South Africa. Take reference of the editing of this specified music videos; Umlando, Gugulethu, 7764 etc... Otherwise you doing a great job man.

@sanelemwelase Supporters of Frankie and Frankie himself already reached out to him prior to the copyright but Eddie ignored all of us, Eddie is the one playing victim now.

Interesting video as always but you have to show reality brother. U only showed a short clip of guys doing construction were you were supposed to show the contrasting sad realities of the majority, heavily impoverished living in the shacks, interacting with bins trying to find something to eat and plastic materials to recycle which is a very common thing in the city
