Kundai you definitely came to Capetown wrong time , best time to visit is from December to February you missed on a lot of things. Places you should prioritise visiting Chapmans peak drive, Capepoint, Boyes drive, Oukapsweg road, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch gardens, Wine route Stellenbosch and Franchoek, all the popular beaches Muzinberg, Fishhoek , Strand , Summerset etc

May I engage you on the phenomenon called SA. This nation is not only big in land space but in GDP. $393 billion per annum compared to $46 billion for Zimbabwe by end of year 2024. SA is the landing pad for all European, American and Australian business and one of China’s major trading partners on the continent. SA has never broken its development and relations with all these major trading routes from the 20th century and have had the largest GDP throughout that century in Africa that is a 100 years of unbridled economic growth. When they got freedom the much maligned government decision of CODESA meant the economy largely remained in the hands of major businesses and no transference of wealth to the majority of black people (that’s a debate for another day). SA remains the controller and gate keeper of what happens in SADC so on the flip side they become an America for the rest of Africa moreso SADC. Zimbabwe on the other hand decided to take a centralised system and more socialistic approach after 1980 which meant the major markets and their free market policies were not aligned to the nations approach. Don’t rush to say it won’t work because second largest economy in the world is definitely that and even better than USA in other parts by a country mile i.e China. So what you see in this video you won’t achieve without compromising the general populace and relegating them to worker status only and let big corporations and International banks give you money. For all this development you need that in that scenario for the next 2 decades and a half of Zimbabwe’s economic life. Pros and Cons for SA is that you get there and match world standards easily but this is super Capitalistic and control is by business and if you don’t qualify by virtue of being rich you can’t participate and fully in that economy that’s 80% of the population or even more and largely black. Pros and Cons for Zimbabwe you get to do it on your own using home grown solutions and no interference of the rules based systems that normally don’t serve the interest of majority and on our continent that is black people. The major drawbacks of this is that black people are not willing to work on their own they want ready made solutions and no major lending partners will help since they come with players, often European and American/Canada/Australian to do the job for you. In conclusion Zim can match SA standards as long as we have the population understand it’s on “US” not powerful nations to help as well as majority are not thinking of tomorrow’s benefit we can do this. Lastly it makes no sense to celebrate our nation being embarrassed and embargoed by super powers with the help of our own people. We lost 20 years but we are so oblivious that those who Sanctioned us are owing us big time reparations for two decades of delay. Some will argue but no matter the situation none of us benefitted from being held back. My take happy to engage further if you so wish 😊
Kundai next you come to Cape town DM my guy.The cut off Highway they run out of money.
