Fantastic video thanks for all the info, just a quick comment the background music is a little loud and in some parts hard to hear you. Thanks again for all the advice and hopefully we will be joining you on a ride soon

Thanks Darryl, Im aware of the sound, most times its fine on mobiles and tablets, but on bigger sound systems i can be a bit loud. I have a fine balance between making it too soft on all devices, as appose to just maybe gig systems. but its different according to the streaming quality. in my Edit suite, its crystal clear and thats my only measurement. Take care.... Craig Marshall

Sick video man - very interesting, but a quick question, how long did the trip take overall??
@MSAMotoTravel4 жыл бұрын
Hello Jack, thank you, The route from Cape Town can be done on may different ways. But usually to include Southern and Central Namibia to Windhoek and the Okavango Delta in Botswana, with 3 rest days in total, its normally 17 days comfortable. It can be done in less, but then there are parts of Namibia you may skip if you're not an expert rider. Cheers: Craig Marshall

Thanks for the video Craig. I'm new to Tracks4Africa, will purchase the map! Where can I find the peninsula loop GPX? Many thanks, Oskar
@MSAMotoTravel8 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching Oskar. There isn't really a GPX file for that loop, its the main roads down to The Cape of Good hope and back to the city.

HI Wimpie, yes of course I can. I've planned routes for customers to Kenya before, so I know the best route.. you will need 3 months total there and back.... drop me an email.

Awesome video👌🏼 so how do you get back? Just cut trough Botswana and again through Upington?
@MSAMotoTravel3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ralph, in our guided tours we send the bikes back by truck and everybody flies home from Livingston. On some trips I have ridden back via Botswana from Francistown to Gabarone, then into SA and down into the cape back home to Cape Town.. 3 - 4 days extra

What about the heat? Isn't really hot with all the equipement?
@MSAMotoTravel4 жыл бұрын
HI Alexandre, No the heat is not a problem in the months between May and September as its winter in these countries. Dec, Jan, Feb, March is extremely hot and rainy. So it's best to do this trip in Winter from May to September.
