Cape Wrath Trail 2024 - Wild Camp Near Glomach Falls to Glen Affric - Day 13

In August 2023 I walked the Cape Wrath Trail for the first time from Fort William to Cape Wrath. This May I found myself back in Scotland to attend my Uncle's 80th birthday in Inverness. So I thought I'd walk it for the second time in 9 months, this time walking from North to South and taking different routes than the last time.
So join me as I attempt to complete the North South route just before I turn 66..and it sure is a tougher route going South for sure!

What a great place to wake up Iain followed by a warm river crossing, wow. Id have gone back and looked for my hat. I walked half a mile back on isle of wight for my hat. Alpaca, i bought it in peru, had to find it. It was on a bracken. Hey man, you can sing just fine, i dont know crosby et al but thats a good tune. Im watching with lisa and she waved at the tv when you mentioned her and the swing. Nice one, shes smiling. You even did a 'weeeee'. The red roofed bothy looked great. You took a path i dont know. Amazing views and your knowledge of the cape wrath trail is excellent. How you know whats coming up is great. What a great day and a great episode.

That was a really tiring day! And in that bothy it was packed tight! As you will see from the next episode maybe a mistake! Yeah every time I see a swing anywhere in the world you pop back into my head! Shhhhhh! Don't tell Niall I'm thinking of you.. 😂

Morning Iain. Blimey, that was an eventful start to the day mate, but what a great day it turned out to be, beautiful scenery again. Lovely to see other parts of the CWT that the standard ones on everyone else’s trails. Those views at the end……I must admit I do fancy the Affric Kintail way. All the best mate 😀⛰🥾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

@@stevetock8065 lol..yeah Steve. Whilst editing the video I noticed that whilst walking back to where I camped right at the start it was on the end of my pole. Then just before I headed down to cross the river I noticed it has gone. So must have dropped it around right where I camped! That was a long old day and the look on Kerra's face whom I met whilst singing out loud on the trail going down into Morvich was priceless. She could hear me from the bottom of the hill. 🤣
