Kurtis King didn't have the confidence mate. So kept putting it off. Lived in a large city aswell so public transport was easier. Now I'm back in the lake District so made sense ;)

I also have a Warn winch in my -79 Blazer, and now I have learned to test it before going off road, as it has had enough troubles already; the winch motor has been corroded twice, and the relay box also twice, and actually I found out that again only (fortunately) "in" direction works. All my other 4x4:s have cheap chinese winches that just work, period. So, perhaps there is a good reason to pay much for a winch, I just not have found out what that is. At least it is not the reliability. But these videos are so much fun to watch, the seemingly endless possibilities to find epic trails, too bad I live almost exactly on the other side of the globe, in Finland

on the bucket list, but would a 4x4 truck camper make the trip to Cape flattery? the truck, a Commander from SLRV, is a bit wider and taller than your norm 4x4 but very capable off road Thanks in advance for your feed back.

when the vegetation and small animals/ insects decompose in water it releases t.h.m's (trihalomethane...maybe??)gives the water it's color and smell,If I remember correctly lol it's been twenty years since being in the field, 41yrs old last month.😉

Is the editing out, because the footage jumps around a lot in the middle of the episode. They go from Starcke, to Cape Flattery from the bottom of the hill, then to Connies, then back down the big hill???

Is the power difference really noticeable with a STEINBAUER module as mentioned in 32:05 in the vid? I have a Ford Everest 2018 with 2.2 engine which can use a bit more power...

The thing I love about the 70 series cruiser are the minimum electrics and a clearly proven platform for tough stuff. You don’t see navaras or Tritons or d max in mining environments as they just can’t handle it.

Doing tracks with scrub hanging over the track you need to get the new design ceramic coating there’s a 4 coat system and if you see any scratches you grab a heat gun wave it over the area for a few seconds and then it fills it’s self and no more scratches there is a detailing shop in north lakes that does the coating not sure of the name
