Here is a little tip from me, hopefully helps someone out. When your doing river crossings or deep bog holes, carry the little foam ear plugs in you glove box, stick them in the drains in the bottom of the doors. Those drains are usually the first place to let water in if you have good door seals. It's cheap and easily reversible for your on road driving.
