Actually the stuffed peppers called ‘dolma’ and the recipe is originally from Armenia. It has beef and rice on it and you can make it not only with bell peppers but also wrap it into grapes leaves (my favorite), zucchini, eggplants, tomatoes and other veggies. I’ve never tried it baked on fire and after watching this video I definitely want to try it. Great video 👍

Lot of areas in the US like that too. You are probably as close to wild areas like Shetlands, Faeroe, Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Portugal etc. as some people are to the SW Deserts here.

Australia has some really good wheeling spots from what I’ve heard, so does Mexico and Canada, but the US has everything from dense forests and mountains in the east, mud bogs, deserts in the southwest, more mountains in the north west, you name it, we got it.

We just camped this last weekend and had a GREAT time. Trona Pinnacles had zero wind and Goler Wash + Mengel Pass were in great shape and a ton of fun in my stock JLUR. We even scored the Geologist Cabin. Spent a few more days hitting a few other spots as well. This is now my favorite route to enter Death Valley. Thanks Brad!

His trailer held its own for sure, but I would upgrade it to an off-road hitch assembly and it's pretty bare bones, so lot's of custom work needed to bring it up to speed to be a chuck wagon kitchen.

Jason, I have the Scout Trailer and have taken it on the White Rim trail outside of Moab. It has held up very well as he have never had any issues with it. It a nice trailer for the price, being a fraction of the cost of a Patriot camper but it’s bare bones.

Got a ton of inspiration from watching this trip! Not only was it an awesome escape, but the terrain was manageable enough that my modest XJ could probably handle it. A good reminder that you don’t have to beat your rig against the rocks to have an adventure. Plus, if I could apply like 10% of Marco’s passion for trail cooking to my day to day life, every meal could be an adventure!
