I rebuilt that bridge at Nolan’s a few years back, looks like some of the logs I put in are still there 👍 It needs a bit of rebuilding after every wet

Geez mate you could of made it a bit wider 🤣. Thanks for your efforts, it’s actually pretty sturdy.

Riding the PDR. What can you say. When we did it last year the corrugations were more like whoops and the sand was like Bondi with a definite Mad Max feel given off by the four wheel drives. Remember going flat out with all my weight over the back wheel riding it like it was a missile. The only way to smooth the bastard out. And the bloody dust…. Good times.😂

From what I've seen the Telegraph Track has some real sketchy and buttclenching moments especially that Nolans bridge... awesome you both got through it unscathed and all the way to the top. Well done... Onwards and up... errrr downwards then. :)

Another great video Josh. How happy are you guys to be doing it on a DRZ, and not in some 2 or 3 tonne 4WD Tank trying to negotiate all of those bloody gouged-out bog-hole creek entry/exits..? 😉👍

Hey Josh, what an amazing adventure you guys are taking us through! You make it look absolutely amazing! It makes me want to go to Australia! The filming is fantastic, I love it, thank you! May I ask an annoying question however! I recently bought a drz400 and I love it! Though I am struggling to run my GPS, which looks to be the same as yours. How do you manage all the electricals on your bike pretty please? Heated grips, GPS, lights, you seem to have it all! I installed some LED indicators and it all blew up!! Any tips on how I can manage all the electrics please, how do you do it, did you add anything? Many many thanks
@_JoshJB_ Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate 👍🏼 No real secrets, I just run it all from the battery. The headlight just uses original wiring which made it easy. I just always keep my battery topped up when the bikes is garaged and it’s been working fine for me.
@snozed9994 Жыл бұрын
@@_JoshJB_ awesome 👍 cheers mate. Thanks again for the beautiful videos, can't wait for the next upload :) looks like such an amazing adventure, well done you guys

Just remember that the DRZ400 engine is not built to last a long time like a DR650, and its not as good for long haul adventure biking. Its a mistake to expect the same durability. The DRZ produces 97hp/lt compared to 66 for the DR. That translates into much higher internal engine stresses which dramatically reduces durability. The KTMs also suffer from ths flaw. Its ok if you are a weekend rider with access to services and spares, but not out in the boondocks.
@_JoshJB_ Жыл бұрын
What would you consider a long time? Plenty of people out there on there 400s pushing the limits. I’ve done 25000kms with nothing but regular servicing so far. I’ve heard of others getting much further. DR650 is a big lump of a thing to take down tracks like this IMO. Both great bikes.
@TechnikMeister2 Жыл бұрын
A DRZ is worn out at 40,000kms. I have had two DRs and both got over 100,000 kms with 5000km oil changes. @@_JoshJB_
