I agree he is very good looking and he has completely lost his Korean accent. He sounds American. I remember watching him in lost and some of my friends who are Korean commented that his Korean accent was off because it was slighted accented with an American accent. Whether true or not I can tell you because I don't speak Korean and to me it sounded Korean

I also distinctly remember how the actress who played his wife chuckled at the memory of Daniel speaking like a korean grandpa because he practiced korean with...well, korean grandpa's. 😅😅😅😅

I could listen to him talk all day. His articulation and pronunciation are off the chart. I agree with what he said about actors learning different languages for a film or series. Take any some who is white and tell to speak a different language the critics would be amazed that this guy or woman is able to speak a different language and maintain in their scenes, but if you take a black person or Asian or Latino etc people are expected that should be able to speak the language even though they have never spoken the language.

Daniel Dae Kim is an incredible talent, in front and behind the camera. People need to look past his Korean on Lost and see the bigger picture - two Asian American actors were main characters on one of the biggest network shows created by JJ Abrams, in a time when Asian representation on network TV was desperately needed. DDK should be praised and applauded for his performance on the show.

Subtle racism... I am close to tears when I hear this man speak of his thoughts and aspirations. I'm Chinese not Korean, living abroad for a long time, and I can really relate to some of the stuff Daniel was talking about. I can still remember the reactions in the early days, when I used a old fashion English word in conversation. (Wow, how did you know that word! ? Umm, I read alot...? Oh, yes of course. .. :-/ These days its water off a ducks back. ) Thank you for your inspiring words Daniel. I really hope more boundaries will be overcomed for current and future Asian actors and performers all because you and all the other similar entertainers have done the ground-breaking.
