Flip the bracket on the back of the truck at the tailgate and it will push the body forward and eliminate that gap in the front

@toycoma98 the tube/chassis piece that runs where a tailgate would be. Part of the hinge. Very easy to flip the assembly around and you end up with this problem

I would love to see a build out on this. I just built my son a 24 and it’s got some performance mods to it brass knuckles, brass front diff, stainless hi clearance links, stainless drive shafts, injora shocks, treal wheels with brass rings with LGRP black label tires and a upgraded-ish servo EMAX II.

It’s almost as if the the body is slid back to much, it looks great but may be somthing with the mounting spot for the hinge in the back. No criticism just an idea

I did a ir60 build with a rampcrab gladiator chassis and it worked out perfect . Cool that they made it but I prefer the bigger body

You can put the body on your new basecamp 😉. Also you need to find something so when i drop the SCX24 accessories, you have somewhere to put them. 😀

Once I put my cage together, I took it outside and spray-painted it silver well actually with chrome spray paint, so it just looks like gunmetal with the sheen to it

Awesome just got done putting my IR 60 1/18 scale together the black one painted the back cage with chrome paint looks awesome. I did the same with my black 1/24.scale

I built my scx24 high clearance gladiator rampcrab build with the ir60 and it’s perfect . Idk why you would want to go smaller scale when it already fits

Very cool old Hilux look, and it can fit all kind of builds if you decide to go for a scale rig or a more comp oriented one.

Yes, yours is on backwards. Also, when you looking at that back cage piece those two ears that attaches to the bracket should be straight up and down not on the angle on the angle is backwards. I’m sure you probably already discovered and changed yours also.

Yeah, once I put my super deep dish mofo RC rims on with my mud terrain tires. It did really good except except for that speed controller but for stock and just my rims and tires big difference mines the black one with silver cage now really looks awesome, I got the purple one, but that is for the TRX.4 1/18 scale one

It says Deadbolt but does it include a special bumper bracket to mount on chassis? The links are different lengths on the Deadbolt and axles are positioned differently on the same stock chassis.

it should work fine with the deadbolt links. i used the gladiator rear links with mine

@CapeCrawlers i did the rear hinge upside down to yours and it sits a lot lower. the only problem i have is the joint where the cab meets the rear, catches on the inside so ive had to miss out the roll bar screws.

I put mine on my stock C10 also but yours looks the same as mine. The back wheels is forward too much looking at the wheelwells something ain’t right.

The rear wheels look like there to far forward, when I get this body I’ll build it as a C-Bolt length.

Put this on my C-Bolt but end up using a Gladiator bumper mount on the back of the frame rails to get this to align better with the C-Bolt wheelbase. Also lifted the body up a bit to clear my 1.3" tires

Possibly. The wheelbase on those is right around ~135mm (except the d90) so it should work with a little customization

Wassup cape, I’m relatively new to this hobby but I was wondering why many people put their shocks upside down instead of up right, and when upgrading the eternals in my crawler does it matter which goes first ? I don’t want to get a really good motor and totally mess up any other electronic that can’t handle it, thanks in advance!

The double barrel shocks are often installed upside so they collapse on themselves easier. The normal way that can bind sometimes. Hope that helps.

If you look, it looks like to me on mine and yours the body needs to go forward a little even the front wheels are forward a little too much

@@CapeCrawlers I just discovered I had that one back piece of the cage on backwards, so it pushed the body forward. I took it off and put it on right now. It’s all set on my new version of the.C10 the spectrum system is junk, but I’m switching everything over to mofo
