It is really sad what happened to this mill, all because our manufacturing went overseas for cheaper labor. This mill was once hustle and bustling up until the early 1980's as Capehart a Wakefern owned company and then it fell silent and eventually fell apart. Floor after floor falling down into the lower floor. There is no saving any part of this building and it will be a challenge carting all those bricks and wood away. It could have been saved years ago, but like all mills, they are left to decay and collapse upon themselves, a total shame.

I didn't grow up in this area, but I agree it is sad to see these old historic places fall into disrepair and then beyond repair. When I see places like this, I can't help but think of all the people who worked there, what their day must have been like, etc. I bet this building could tell some stories.
