Capernaum, the town of Jesus is a jewel in the crown of Galilee! The Sea of Galilee is most enchanting! The ancient ruins or remains of the Caprnaum Sinagogue are magnificent! I’m thrilled 😁 to see such a beautiful mango 🥭 grove doing well on a land that seems hard and inhospitable for growing plants! I love 💕 mangoes and one day I hope to taste the mangoes 🥭 of Capernaum, God willing!! Dima, your work in showcasing Israel 🇮🇱 is most impressive and fascinating. There’s lots to learn about Israel, by simply walking with you, albeit virtually. I enjoy it tremendously and as a result I share it with family members in Lodonga, West Nile region of North Western Uganda. Yes. Capernaum was the town of Jesus. It was a place where he lived. He proclaimed the Gospel here. He performed various miracles, and healed many people. He also cast demons out of people living here. Several of His disciples also came from this town. The people of this town should have responded by repenting of their sins. But they did not. And because of this, Jesus cursed this town. People seem to forget this part of this Bible... (Matthew 11:23-24)) "And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.”
